This hub is for the Port of Tyne nurdle spill in the North East. If you are finding nurdles elsewhere in the UK, here is where to start.
Nurdles wash up on beaches around the country, not only on Tyneside. The Great Nurdle Hunt is the national citizen-science project for recording finds and helping build a picture of plastic pellet pollution.
We have also started a Rest of UK WhatsApp group for volunteers outside North and South Tyneside. This is an initial test — it may not stay part of this community.
